Ad:Tech London - Day One

Ad:TechWeb 1.0 is out and Web 2.0 is in, was one of the main themes is this years Ad:Tech London.  Yes the traditional annoying and interruptive ads are no more, it’s all about engaging wit h the user.  The consumer is in control, they have many choices of receiving information.  The growth of open source software, file sharing and user generated content has proven that it is no longer a trend but a shift in culture, society and the economy.

What does this mean for us marketers and advertisers?  It means that brands need to have a human voice that is authentic and real. Ads must communicate to the consumer’s own terms. Advertiser and Marketers needs to create emotional content to get the consumer to engage, experience and interact.
