Take A Trip to Lake Louise and Relax!

During the last four years of my life, I’ve had the opportunity to travel all over the world, all in thanks to my awesome career. Most of the times the trips are strictly business and less play. For those who are business travelers, you know how it goes. You are working from the time you leave the office until you return home and in your bed.

I just recently came back from Lake Louise for our management retreat. yes it was a Retreat so this trip was more of a relaxed environment. It was time to unwind and recharge.

Lake Louise

I never knew a place like this existed in Canada. It is in Alberta near the Canadian Rockies. The setting was beautiful. When we got to our location, you immediately felt the relaxed environment. The fresh air never smelled so good and you can hear the glaciers melt, it was a beautiful sound.

Lake Louise

I have never stood close to any mountain before, and here I was near the Canadian Rockies, the tip of the mountains is also know as the borders that divide Alberta and British Columbia. The skies are known as BC Skies. Ahhhhh. Breath taking I tell you.

Hey, Christian - as a fellow business traveler, yes, I know how it goes! My travels take me all over the US (not the world) and I really don’t have the energy to explore the area after work. I still like the travel, though. I mean, I’ve seen places that I wouldn’t pay to visit (Detroit, MI, Rochester, NY, Lincoln, NE) but they have allowed me to see a snapshot of parts of America. It’s great to be able to experience, even in a limited way, how others live around the US.

The photos you included are beautiful … I can just imagine the sound of melting glaciers and breathing in that mountain air.

It’s times like those when I feel connected and inspired.
