Whoever you are
And wherever too
That we are closer than worlds apart
Whatever is between us
It is secret, like how the name of Wall is also a Street
And how fire could be a real wall

You must be thinking
I am only awake when you are asleep
And I only sleep when I can
But surely if someone like you could understand
My dream then my dream is just a dream
Just another one of those you relate to
And surely if I understand you
Like the way I usually do
Then our distance has to be measured
Before our letters can be treasured

I am scared to lose you
You are correct in a correct kind of way
I am scared to lose you because of respect
Because ever since I could remember
You could love someone before meeting

How it happened when I met the person
I didn’t even know it was happening
It was just an ordinary day
The greatness of such a way
The likeness twofold and young
The silliness so flavorful
It was so good, I could have ruined it

Where was I in all of this
You were in my thoughts
I was thinking of you
It was like we were together
Not in a secret place or a secret time
Just somewhere for all we know
Just friends and strangers the same
In our place where love is the game
