If I Were A Boy…
When I first heard this song, I honestly didn’t get it. My first thought was, that she wanted to be a lesbian and chase after the girls… It took about three or four times listening to the song and reading the lyrics to some what get it. Than I saw the video, confusing at first but as you get half way through it made sense. The concept of the video is great. It’s definitely one of my favorite video from Beyonce.
Urban Thought
It is a great video. I’m no big fan of hers but the video does the song well. The concept isn’t new though. There have been plenty of songs written just like it. In recent time, Ciara did a song called “Like A Boy” (I believe that to the name). This just feel like a part two to that.
