H&M Presents: Romeo and Juliet
Tamyra Gray is one of my favorite American Idol contestants. Many still believe that she should have won instead of Kelly Clarkson during the first season of American Idol. Her 4th place departure shocked America.
This is a great commercial for H&M. The songs featured are from Dreamgirls. But the story is played out Romeo and Juliet style. It features Mary J Blige, singing ‘When I First Saw You’ and Tamyra Gray performing “And I Am Telling You’.
Tamyra’s vocal and acting performance is amazing. Just listen to the emotions in her voice, its pure talent. I personally think it’s better than Jennifer Hudson’s Oscar winning performance in the movie Dreamgirls.
American Idol Journey Finally Ends for Sanjaya
It took you look enough America! You finally got it right this time around.
After 55 minutes of promotions on tonight’s one hour live result show, we find Sanjaya, Lakisha and Blake on center stage. I thought to myself that if Sanjaya did not go home tonight, that this show would seriously tank.
When Ryan announced that it was Sanjaya going home tonight, the crowd cheered loud as if telling him, ‘Yeah you’re finally going home’. I kind of felt bad for a second when he began to tear up… But it was only a second.

Sanjaya surprised us by making it this far with little to no talent. He gave us some bad performances and outrageous hairstyles. Despite receiving negative reviews form the judges, the American voters continue to persevere and put him through week after week. Of course there was help from Anti American Idols, by voting for the worse in hopes that this show would lose its credibility.
On Tuesday night Sanjaya performed to “Let’s Give Them Something to Talkâ€, I guess it has been a while since he was heavily discussed in the media. Fortunately for him, tonight’s live result show has revived his media buzz.
What’s next for Sanjaya? Will a record company pick him up? Will he take the KFC offer? Or, Will he just become a One Bad Hit Wonder?
Charla and Mirna: Annoying, but Entertaining
This is why I love this show; I get a laugh out of Charla and Mirna. They are probably the most annoying and yet entertaining team on the Amazing Race All Stars. Personally I dislike their methods of using their short status to get ahead, their constant fake accent that they seem to use when speaking to the locals, and their manipulative ways during stressful situations, but during interviews they try and show America that they are good kind hearted people. Phulease….
Watch these scenes from episode eight. It’s hilarious. It’s kind of mean that the producers are playing circus music when Charla was making herself throw up, but it’s still funny as hell. My favorite part is when Mirna is freaking out at Charla in the car, and Charla is asking for Mirna to yell at her some more, because it is not enough. Haahahha. ROFL…
Sanjaya Malakar SNL Weekend Update
Despite how much I dislike his vocal talent, this Sanjaya is becoming the talk of the media and everyone is capitalizing on it. I bet even the producers of American Idol are, hence the reason why he is still there.
Anyway check this skit on SNL about Sanjaya Malakar. It’s hilarious.
Who Will be Sanjaya Malakar’s Next Victim?
Last week we saw Sanjaya Malakar sport a ‘My Little Pony’ hair do and performed awfully to ‘Bathwater’, which the American public seems to love considering that they voted him to stay and we were forced to say good bye to Jack Osborne (Chris Sligh).
It’s unfortunate that Sanjaya’s popularity on American Idol has turned into a joke for the remaining contestants who are serious about the American Idol dream. Although VoteForTheWorst.com may be laughing at the amount of hits he is getting, it is sad that the ever popular show will now lose its creditability if Sanjaya Malakar wins. I guess we won’t know how serious America really is about tarnishing the hit show until the finals, where we hope to NOT see Sanjaya Malakar.
Who will be Sanjaya’s next victim this week? Will his luck finally run out? Will America finally get it right? But more importantly what kind of hair style will he sport this week? Find out live on Tuesday as the remaining nine contestants compete for the American Idol crown.
A Typical American Idol Result Show
Yes, it seems to be a trend this year.  Sanjaya did not get the boot. America must love him. Â
Although I failed to report on the performances of the Top 11 on Tuesday night, I do remember the ones that did well and the ones that failed to impress me. Melinda Doolittle once again rocked the house, along with Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson and Lakisha Jones. Â
Unfortunately the same can not be said for Phil Stacey, Chris Sligh, Stephanie Edwards, Sanjaya Malakar, Gina Glocksen and Haley Scarnato who showed off her slut skills more than her vocal talent. I guess now that Antonella Barba is gone she figured she would follow her footsteps and use her sex appeal to her advantage.Â
The highlight of Tuesday night would have to be Sanjaya’s performance, where the camera man couldn’t help but focus on a little girl crying during his awful performance. Simon said well, the girls face says it all.Â
Last night as I watch the result show, heavily anticipating that Sanjaya Malakar would be going home, I was shocked to find that he was not even in the bottom two which caused me to grab my cat and throw her across the room. Grrrr. j/k, I didn’t really throw her… But I did punch the wall.
Instead of Sanjaya packing his back and getting ready to leave on a jet plane, surprisingly, we find Chris Richardson and Stephanie Edwards in the bottom two. The audience reaction of loud cries of boo’s, said it all. They did not agree. Again who the hell in America is voting to keep Sanjaya Malakar? If he makes it past the top 10, I’m going to start a petition for him to be removed from the competition.Â
In the end, I was so sad to say goodbye to one of my favorite contestants this year Stephanie Edwards, yes I agree that her performance on Tuesday night was not the best one, however she still has one of the better voices that is hot and current today. I knew sooner or later that one of the three divas would be going home, reminiscent to AI4 with Latoya London, Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia Barrino were in the bottom three and it was Jennifer Hudson who got the axe that night.
Sanjaya should have not made it to the Top 12, now we find him making it to the Top 10 which means he is going to be part of the American Idol tour. When will America get it right?Â
