Home Sweet Home
Although my European experience was great, I do have to admit that I’m glad to be home. The hotel life was getting too much for me and I couldn’t wait to eat some of my moms cooking. Mmmmmm Ulam and Kanen….
Sounds of a Switzerland Hang
I was having lunch outside on the patio at a Bistro restaurant on the streets of Dublin Ireland, when I heard a nice soothing sound playing. At first I thought it was the restaurants music playing on the speakers, but then I saw a crowd build up across from me. I figured it was probably a guy playing something interesting. But what instrument was it? At first it sounded like a piano, but it couldn’t be. That’s nothing interesting for a crowd to watch. I listened some more and came to the conclusion that it sounded more like the Jamaican steel drums.Â
After I finished lunch, I approached the guy and asked him what it was. He said it is a new instrument from Switzerland called a Hang. He mentioned that it was a modified version of the Jamaican Steel Drums. Ha! I was close. It’s hard to describe the instrument, so here is a picture of it. Yes I paid for the picture with some of my coins.

Rain or Shine
Dublin doesn’t stop! These are shots taken on the famous streets of Grafton. It is an amazing place that has many stores, coffee shops and of course Pubs. It’s a European version of Osborne  or Corydon, but bigger and better, more people, and best of all no cars on the streets.
A Night Out in London - Pricey
My last night in London I decided to check out the night life. After visiting the Buchanan Palace, having dinner at a Lebanese restaurant, and visiting Harrods on Brampton’s and checking out the ridiculous prices on every thing you can imagine, I deicide to hit up a club around the New Oxford area. I came to the conclusion that this was probably the most I’ve ever spend on one night at the club, and that’s not including buying drinks for anyone.
Cab Ride To: 20 Pounds = $41.92 CAD
Cover: 10 Pounds = $20.96 CAD
Vodka Red bull: 4.50 Pounds = $9.43 CAD
Cab Ride Back to Hotel: 25 Pounds = $52.41 CAD
The night at the club cost me about $120 Pounds. Yes I had a hang over and yeah it was worth it.Â
Note to myself. Don’t drink too much if you have a flight to catch the next morning. Not good at all. Yaack….  Sorry BMI!
London Pictures
I had the opportunity to check out one of London’s famous sights. Here are some pictures.Â

Economy vs. Business
I’m headed to London England for the Ad: Tech Conference. Although I did just arrive last Friday from a long week, I’m somewhat looking forward to this trip. I have never gone to Europe before so this is a first.
I find myself headed to England in Business class. I’ve never flown this way before, so this is also a first time. Wow, what a difference from the flight I had last week. Let’s start all the way to the beginning.
When checking in, the agents are so friendly and courteous to you. This is really rare when it comes to AC agents.
You can chill at the lounge while waiting for your flight, where they have free wireless internet, food, and alcohol.Â
You get first dibs, when boarding the plane. They also offer to take your coat.Â
When sitting down they offer you a newspaper, snacks, juice, alcohol… And it’s all FREE! I’ll take a beer please.Â
You get a menu for your choice of dinner and breakfast. What! No snack mix and cold sandwiches?
The seats are comfortable, where it can recline almost all the way back. There is so much leg room.Â
The flight attendants, are constantly asking If your fine or need anything. Man it’s so hard to get these guys attention when sitting in Economy, and when you do they look so grumpy.
You have a personalize Entertainment system. Which means you can choose to watch what you want. Yes! I won’t get in booed this time.
And best of all, you don’t have a fat man sitting beside you taking up so much of the arm rest and looking over your shoulder. Sigh… I can get use to this.
